Rules and Regulations

For the 2024/25 competition season, there will be two classes for students to compete in: Development and Professional. Development class teams may enter a 3D-printed or CNC-manufactured car (see Development Technical Regulations) and will produce shorter versions of the portfolios. Professional Class teams are required to CNC manufacture their car (see Professional Technical Regulations). Additional differences between the classes are detailed on the Competition Classes page.

Be sure to look for the green and blue text in the competition regulations that differentiate Regional Finals and National Finals rules!
